It traverses posterior to the radial collateral ligament, distally posterior to the radial head, and merges with fibers of the annular ligament, and joins proximal ulna.<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Function\"><\/span>Function<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3><br>\n\n\n\n<p>The lateral ulnar collateral ligament acts as a&nbsp; primary restraint to varus force and external rotatory stress&nbsp;<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Attachments\"><\/span>Attachments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Humeral origin at the posteroinferior aspect of the lateral (radial) epicondyle just posterior to the origin of the radial collateral ligament.<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Distal (ulnar) insertion at the proximal part of the supinator crest in close relationship to the posterior attachment of the annular ligament posterolateral rotatory instability.&nbsp;<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Radever provides a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/radever.com\/teleradiology-services.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teleradiology service<\/a><\/strong> that will improve patient care and increase the quality of imaging.
