Transient peripatellar subcortical hyperintensity

Grade I signal changes within posterior horn of medial meniscus

Grade II to III sprain of distal patellar tendon with small collection involving the infra patellar bursa.

The patella demonstrates a subcortical circumferential rim of increased T2 signal intensity with intact / normal cartilage – likely suggestive of a transient peripatellar hyperintensity, needs follow up evaluation.
