Obstructing biliary ascariasis

Status post cholecystectomy.

A long, tortuous hypointense structure (3.5 cm long) within the lumen of distal common bile duct extending upto terminal point of CBD – ampulla -likely suggestive of residual obstructing biliary ascariasis

Marked upstream dilatation of the CBD, CHD and bilateral IHBR dilatation, now measuring 1.7 and 1.5 cm in maximum diameter respectively.

Changes of cholangitis with thin perihehpatic fluid collection around left lobe

A few marginally enlarged periportal, periapncreatic mesenteric lymphnodes are noted.
