Diffuse cerebral edema with subtle gyriform T2 hypointensities involving bilateral occipital, posterior temporal lobes predominantly involving the cortex and subcortical region (not evident on any other sequence) – suggestive of acute hyperglycemic encephalopathy,

No evidence of acute infarct or restricted diffusion on DWI. No evidence of significant mass effect or mid line shift.
