DIAGNOSISNG SPONTANEOUS INTRACRANIAL HYPOTENSION ON AXIAL CT SCAN BRAIN IMAGES

Thin bilateral fronto-temporo-parietal hypodense subdural hygromas measuring less than 0.3 cm in maximum thickness with diffuse cerebral edema, reduced interpeduncular angle ( 36° ) with partial effacement of Suprasellar cistern and fourth ventricle as described – likely suggestive of spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH).

Recommend clinical correlation MRI brain for further evaluation, MRI total spine with myelography as indicated clinically to rule out CSF leak.
