ISOLATED VEIN OF LABBE THROMBOSIS (with normal venous sinuses) WITH LARGE VENOUS INFARCT

An extensive gyriform area of blooming involving the left posterior temporal lobe extending to adjoining fronto-temporal lobes (including the left Wernicke’s area 22) with marked surrounding vasogenic exhibiting mass effect – likely suggestive of hemorrhagic venous infarct

0.8 cm midline shift to the right due to mass effect.

Normal appearing superior sagittal, transverse and sigmoid venous sinuses with cord like thickening of the left vein of Labbe draining into the left transverse sinus – may suggest isolated left Vein of Labbe the thrombosis.
