Nonketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH)

Tiny almost symmetric T2 hyperintensities involving the dorsal part of midbrain and pons at the level of tectum, colliculus with restriction of diffusion on DWI – likely suggestive of inborn error or metabolism such as Neonatal Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH) versus mitochondrial disorder / Leigh syndrome
