Marked mucosal thickening in right maxillary sinus with air fluid level along with a thin rim of abnormal soft tissue along the lateral wall of right maxillary sinus with focal fat stranding in the adjoining buccal / masticator space without obvious bony erosions in this study – of concern for early invasive fungal sinusitis.
Soft tissue opacification of right nasal cavity, osteomeatal unit is noted with hypertrophy of the right middle and inferior turbinates – may suggest associated polyposis
Mild mucosal thickening in bilateral ethmoid sinuses (right more than left) bilateral sphenoid and left maxillary sinuses as well.
