Parsonage-Turner Syndrome

Marked long segment thickening of the trunks, cords of the right brachial plexus extending across the right costoclavicular space demonstrating high T2, STIR signal intensity along with abnormal tortuosity of the cords – suggestive of severe post traumatic right brachial plexopathy.

The roots of the right brachial plexus appears slightly hyperintense. No evidence of nerve root avulsion or pseudomeningocele formation in this study.

Extensive high STIR signals intensities involving the supraspinatus, infraspinatus , teres minor, subscapularis muscles – suggestive of acute denervation , Parsonage-Turner Syndrome
