ACL tear+MCL tear+ Wrisberg Rip (lateral meniscal tear) in case of Pivot shift injury

ACL tear+MCL tear+ Wrisberg Rip (lateral meniscal tear) in case of Pivot shift injury

• Slight anterior subluxation of the knee joint.

• Small patchy marrow contusions involving posterior part of lateral tibial plateau with small osteochondral impaction contusion / fracture at lateral femoral condyle.

• Fibular head contusion

*Grade III anterior cruciate ligament tear at midsubstance near femoral attachment*.

*Grade III tear of medial collateral ligament at midsubstance*.

*Grade III longitudinal lateral meniscal tear at posterior horn at the point of Wrisberg attachment (Wrisberg rip)*.

• Marked joint effusion (lipohemarthrosis).

*Findings suggestive of pivot shift mechanism of injury*
