osteoid osteoma

A small T2 hyperintense eccentric intracortical cystic lesion measuring about 1.6 x 0.5 cm at the posterior cortex of distal diaphysis of the tibia with marked focal surrounding cortical thickening and thin focal periosteal edema – likely suggestive of osteoid osteoma

Differential considerations also include:- Acute focal osteomyelitis.

Recommend CT sections, clinical correlation and follow up.
