Dual Ectopic Thyroid

Findings suggestive of Dual Ectopic Thyroid:-

An approximately 3.6 x 2 x 2.8 cm midline hyperdense intensely enhancing prelaryngeal sub hyoid structure containing an eccentric cystic lesion measuring about 2 x 1.6 cm –suggestive of prelaryngeal ectopic thyroid (1) with hyperplastic nodule.

Another hyperdense intensely enhancing midline structure measuring 1.5 x 1.1 cm just anterior to the hyoid bone, position between the right and left supra hyoid strap muscles – sublingual ectopic thyroid (2).
