‘RIGHT THORACIC OUTLET SYNDROME’

Right cervical rib with markedly narrow right costo clavicular space. Which is causing focal extrinsic compression of the right subclavian artery with up to 90% luminal narrowing at this level – suggestive of ‘right thoracic outlet syndrome’

The subclavian artery proximal and distal to the right costoclavicular space demonstrate normal calibre.

Segmental filling defect involving mid, distal brachial artery over an approximate length of 18 cm causing up to 100% luminal diameter reduction with segmental distention of the artery – suggestive of acute thrombo-occlusion
